This striking Kambaba Jasper Tower showcases deep forest greens, charcoal blacks, and the distinctive circular patterns that make this material instantly recognizable.

Despite its common trade name, Kambaba Jasper is not a true jasper. Most geologists classify it as a stromatolite fossil rock, formed from ancient colonies of cyanobacteria that lived billions of years ago in shallow seas. These layered microbial structures eventually fossilized and were preserved within the stone, creating the orb-like patterns seen today.

Most Kambaba material is sourced from Madagascar, where these remarkable fossil-bearing rocks are found.

Polished into a classic tower shape, this specimen highlights the natural contrast and intricate patterning created through ancient biological and geological processes.
