These smooth white spheres feature natural gray veining, reminiscent of marble but formed through a completely different geological process. Howlite is a calcium borosilicate hydroxide mineral, often forming in porous nodules that are later cut and polished to reveal its distinct texture and luster.

Howlite was first discovered in Nova Scotia and is primarily found in Canada and the southwestern United States, especially California.
