This is a natural, polished large tumble of Strawberry Quartz—a pink-hued variety of quartz that gets its color from iron oxide inclusions, primarily lepidocrocite or hematite. These inclusions are dispersed throughout the quartz, giving the stone its characteristic reddish to pink appearance with internal shimmer or speckling.

Strawberry Quartz is typically found in Brazil, Russia, and occasionally Mexico. It forms in igneous or hydrothermal environments, where silica-rich fluids deposit quartz crystals alongside trace iron minerals. Unlike dyed or heat-treated quartz, these pieces are naturally colored.
