Crazy Lace Agate is a banded chalcedony—a microcrystalline variety of quartz—known for its swirling patterns and vibrant earth tones. It forms in volcanic rock through rhythmic crystallization of silica-rich solutions, which gives each piece its unique “lace-like” layers of cream, rust, caramel, and tan.
